Love Island watchers have been betting on when the villa will split in two for the famed Casa Amor episodes, and their curiosity regarding its arrival was addressed on Friday night’s show.
The second villa was shown before of the final credits at the end of a dramatic episode that saw Ellie Spence and Jordan Odofin exit the programme for forever.
The advent of the second house, notorious for jeopardising even the strongest of relationships, brings with it a slew of new surprises to put the present islanders to the test.
Boys and girls will be separated into two different lodgings, where they will be presented to a fresh cast of boys and ladies eager to meet a match and gain admittance into the main villa.
The sex divide has produced big fallout in the past, and viewers, who have complained that this season has lacked the typical dramatic flair, are hopeful Casa Amor will spice things up.
‘Finally Casa Amor…. because things need to be shook up a bit [sic]’, one Twitter user said.
Another penned: ‘Ooooiiiii Casa Amor on Sunday – what timing!!! There’s gonna be ARMS!!! [sic]’.
‘Casa Amor is the Super Bowl of reality television and the only thing that’s going to get me through the last week of term [sic],’ was a viewer’s response to the news.
While this Twitter account posted: ‘so your telling me casa amor is coming with no solid couples, lana continues to be a mug, shaq is trying to gaslight everyone, liv has tried too start numerous problems AND most importantly we lost these two icons producers sort it out fr [sic]’.
Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga clashed at the close of Friday night’s programme over his handling of a disagreement with Ron Hall.
Shaq summoned his girlfriend for a conversation and questioned her about her alleged lack of support during the process.
Tanya denied the charges and claimed she was getting the ‘itch’ as Shaq began to exhibit characteristics she detested in her ex-boyfriend.
Love Island returns on Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
