Love Island France sparks hysterics with alarming photos of islanders looking ‘trapped’: ‘Blink twice if you need help’

The French version of the show is in its second month while we’re enjoying our new series of Love Island in the UK, and it doesn’t look like they’re having much fun.

The show is supposed to be an opportunity for young singles to find their ideal partner, but it appears to have gone a bit wrong over there if their recoupling photos are anything to go by.

Some of the pairs look rather unhappy, to put it mildly – a bit like their grandma has made them pose with their least favourite cousin while they’re fighting.

In their latest recoupling ceremony the official page for the show wrote: ‘C’est un ouragan qui s’est abattu sur la villa durant la Cérémonie des Couples événement!’

If you haven’t said even a ‘J’adore’ since you left your French GCSE oral exam, then that means ‘A hurricane has hit the villa during the couples’ ceremony!’

Nicolò Federico Ferrari, who has a fairly successful YouTube channel, seemed like he was about to cry, while his partner Camille Blum tried to smile.

Valentin Baudrier looks like he’s auditioning for America’s Next Top Model and Tyra Banks has told him, ‘Give us hostage with your eyes’ (You’ll see what we mean when you scroll down).

Things were possibly even worse three weeks ago.

Not everyone ended up with the person they wanted, and the official page wrote ‘Couples ceremony was very difficult.’ You don’t need to speak French to understand that!

Let’s hope that love is around the corner for these extremely stylish islanders.
