ITV bosses are reportedly eyeing up Love Island‘s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu to appear as a regular on the daytime panel.
The self-proclaimed Turkish Delight has been doing the rounds in the media alongside beau Davide Sanclimenti, after they were crowned winners of this year’s annual dating show.
It’s safe to say the 27-year-old actress has been inundated with brand offers following her iconic stint in the villa, but after making her Loose Women debut earlier in the week, producers are hoping the ‘open and honest’ star will get a frequent spot.
‘There are talks for Ekin-Su to join the panel – she’d be great,’ a source said.
‘She came across as really fun and genuine and she really impressed everyone. The Loose Women ladies also loved her. She really would be great as a regular panellist,’ the insider added to OK! magazine.
Ekin-Su and Davide raked in a massive 63.69% of the public vote in the record-breaking final, ITV later revealed, with second place couple Luca Bish and Gemma Owen far off in the distance with just 14.47% of the final vote.
However, Ekin-Su was convinced that Gemma and Luca would win for ‘obvious reasons.’
‘I thought because they had it from the start and they were cute together and I wanted them to win and they’re great,’ she told Capital Breakfast hosts Roman Kemp, Sonny Jay and Sian Welby.
As for Ekin-Su and Davide, the loved-up couple are still on cloud nine after revealing real life has brought them ‘closer.’
Reacting to their newfound fame, Davide told the Loose Women presenters: ‘It’s not scary, but you feel a lot of attention from everyone.’
Addressing their current living arrangements, Ekin-Su revealed she plans to move in with Davide pretty soon.
‘Not now, we don’t share the same house, but we’re always together,’ said Davide.
‘But we’re planning to, probably September maybe October time, we’ll get a place together.’
Ekin-Su became the first of the 2022 cast to hit one million followers on Instagram while she was in the villa, and currently boasts 2.6million.
