Jessica Hayes of Love Island has revealed she is expecting a child after a devastating miscarriage.
The reality actress, 30, who won the ITV programme in 2015, confirmed her pregnancy on Instagram today (December 27) with an endearing video.
The video showed the scan displayed like a bauble on her Christmas tree and her four-year-old son Presley cuddling her growing tummy.
She captioned the post: ‘Going into 2024 with the best gift ever ❤️ I think you all probably know what this means to me and how much I adore being a mum 🥰.
‘Truly blessed 🌈🤍 Excited for our future and to watch my darlings grow up together 🤍.’
The comments section was flooded with congratulatory messages including from Towie star Lauren Goodger, who wrote: ‘Excited for you 🤍 congratulations xx.’

Jessica’s unexpected arrival comes months after she revealed on social media that she had suffered a tragic miscarriage.
Beginning her lengthy caption with a trigger warning to alert followers to the upsetting content of her post, she said: ‘I debated posting it feels really strange to open up and feel vulnerable but you know I’m always open and honest with you all and it’s hard to pretend I’m ok as it’s been a rough week.
‘But I hope that someone going through the same this might help. I was pregnant and now I’m not.’
She revealed: ‘When you’re experiencing loss you have to pretend you are ok, wipe your tears and carry on because you have a little one, you cook dinner, you read the stories. You do the school run. Nothing stops.
‘It was a traumatic day when it happened which I wasn’t really expecting at all I tried to keep busy and go about my day went out which was a big mistake.
‘Rushed home panicked after last time (previous haemorrhage) convinced myself it might be happening again, so I was just happy to get out the other side’.
She also had a miscarriage in 2020, the same year she lost her other baby Teddy at 19 weeks.
Speaking about Teddy’s death on Instagram, she said at the time: ‘I’m so sorry I couldn’t keep you safe for a little while longer. I’m sorry I couldn’t take you home. I’m sorry we had to say goodbye this way it wasn’t supposed to be like this.
‘The pain is unbearable and I feel like I’m drowning in grief. My mind spinning thinking of all the what ifs and questions of who you would of grown up to be .
She also said: ‘You will always be our beautiful son and I promise you will hold the biggest place in our hearts forever my sweet angel.
‘I will make sure the world knows how special you are .. Until we Meet again my Teddy .. Too special for this world. I love you now , forever and always .Your mummy, Daddy and big brother Presley.’
