Love Island‘s Haris Namani has alleged that producers will not allow him to kiss any other Islanders.
Before being ejected from the South African villa, the 21-year-old was paired up with Olivia Hawkins.
While challenges are a significant element of the ITV dating show, which introduced Maya Jama as a new presenter this year, Haris had to skip a few.
The reality star revealed that he was unable to participate in the kissing games due to a cold sore on his mouth, which he concealed with make-up while on camera.
Haris had already been sent packing by the time the wound healed, along with Anna-May Robey.
‘I got a cold sore for three days,’ Haris revealed on the Reality podcast with Will Njobvu.
‘The beer pong challenge, I couldn’t kiss on that, I couldn’t kiss on something else, so for three days I was out.’
Presenter Will then asked: ‘So, you was told by producers that you couldn’t kiss?’
Haris replied: ‘Yeah, I was taking like eight tablets a day to get it away because I was that fuming. I said, “I need to get rid of this!”‘
Anna-May, a fellow dumpee, joined Haris on the pod and recalled helping him disguise his cold sore with make-up.

‘He was coming into the girls’ dressing room to have his make-up done every day,’ she laughed.
Haris added: ‘I kissed Olivia in the space challenge because it had gone by then but that day I got kicked off.’
Will, the host, was sympathetic, noting Haris’ cold sore’s terrible timing.
‘Cold sores are the worst, they come at the most inconvenient time!’
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
