A Love Island actress was left unimpressed after finding that one of the show’s men had slept with her sister.
The current season of the reality show premiered this week, with a fresh set of Islanders relocating into a Mallorca home.
Kirra Schofield, a 26-year-old schoolteacher and the younger sister of Married at First Sight’s Bronte Schofield, was one of them.
Bronte, 28, participated on MAFS earlier this year and was paired with Harrison Boon, but they split up before the final decision.
Kirra, who is now trying to find love on reality TV, was taken aback when bombshell Reid, 26, strolled in.
The personal trainer and model make a big arrival in a teaser trailer for the new episode.
In the genuinely disturbing video, Reid was conversing with broadcaster Sophie Monk before she asked Reid whether he knew Kirra.
‘I think I matched with Kirra on Tinder,’ he began.
He then dropped this bombshell.
‘And then also I did see your sister,’ he told Kirra, clearly trying to avoid saying they’d slept together.
Clearly shocked, Kirra then exclaimed and asked: ‘You f***ed my sister!?’
‘Uh, yes,’ he replied, before clarifying it was just ‘once’.
Former Love Island UK star Lucinda Strafford, who is currently participating on the Australian version, joined in to try to lighten the atmosphere.
‘You could make it a family thing,’ she suggested, but her comment seemed to be largely ignored.
Another video then circulated showed the duo getting together to discuss their somewhat uncomfortable relationship.
When Kirra questioned when the hook up happened, Reid answered it was a few years ago.
‘Oh I fully thought it was more recent,’ she said.
‘Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool.
‘It’s definitely an awkward situation, but I feel like I’m just going to draw that line before you and I because that would be f***ing weird. Good. Well welcome, good to have you.’
Reid took her staring off into the distance as his cue to get out of there.
Then, addressing to the camera, Kirra bemoaned the fact that there was another ‘platonic’ male in the house.
‘Like far out. This is just becoming friendship island for me.’
Love Island airs on Channel Nine in Australia.
