Jay Younger of Love Island has had his pec reattached.
As he tweeted a snapshot from his hospital bed on Sunday, the TV star confessed he’d damaged the body part during training.
The 29-year-old also provided his medical records with his 300,000 Instagram followers, confirming that his pec had successfully reattached.
Jay, who injured himself on or around September 12, penned: ‘My pec has been reattached after I tore it during a training sesh.’
He added: ‘I’ll be back at it after a bit of rehab.’
The fitness fanatic’s medical notes read in part: ‘Right pectoralis major rupture 2 days ago.

‘FINDINGS: Markers at the indicated site. Full-thickness tear of the right pectoralis major musculotendinous junction.
‘Focally retracted, discontinuous tendon. Localised fluid/hematoma in the muscle belly and extending into the anterior subcutaneous tissues.’
Jay was quickly inundated with well wishes, with one social media writing beneath his post: ‘Rest up big man’ and another adding, ‘Ahh mate, wishing u a speedy recovery.’

‘Hope you’re doing well, mate,’ said another. and ‘That sounds terrible! ‘I wish you a speedy recovery.’
That is seconded!
Jay’s most recent Instagram post was almost a month ago.
He appeared on Love Island 2022 as a bombshell and tried things on with Paige Thorne (when she was having an affair with Jacques O’Neill) before marrying eventual winner Ekin-su Cülcülolu after she crawled on the floor to get a sneaky kiss on the roof in iconic scenes.
When asked how much he was paid for his stay in the villa months after departing, Jay admitted that it was “very low,” equating it to “minimum wage.”
‘For me, I didn’t have an agent, and once they sent through the contract, I think they pay you £375 a week,’ Jay shared.
He continued on The Rugby Pod: ‘It’s very low, it’s like minimum wage,’ adding: ‘They’ll pay for any ad-hoc advertisements that you do, so you might be holding a bottle, and if you’re wearing certain sponsored clothes.
‘It’s not about the money, it’s about the exposure that it’s meant to give you after, and they invite you to events after, which they pay you like £1200 for, like an ITV commercial event.’
