Love Island star Paige Thorne has been getting back to reality since exiting the villa and was filmed back at her job as a paramedic.
The Welsh star narrowly missed out on a place in the final with now official boyfriend Adam Collard, but the pair couldn’t be more loved up as they settle into life as a couple in the outside world.
And it seems that going back to the day job is part of the 24-year-old’s post-villa plans, after spending a wild summer in Mallorca.
Not wanting to hang up her uniform any time soon, the ex-islander was spotted smiling with three of her colleagues in a clip posted to her Instagram Stories.
Paige, who was sporting a crisp white shirt beamed at her co-workers as she filmed them catching up in the office.
It comes after the reality contestant revealed on Lorraine that she had no plans of ditching her former job, sharing how she got major FOMO (fear of missing out) after the show ended and she heard an ambulance with sirens blaring.
She said: ‘I’ve got a meeting to go back to paramedic work, so that will be exciting.
‘I actually saw an ambulance the other day with sirens on and I had like, serious FOMO. I was like, get me my ambulance back!
‘So yeah, I’m gonna go back into that a little bit and just see what other opportunities come’.
Host Ranvir Singh praised Paige for wanting to go back to her old job, telling her: ‘People will be glad to hear that, because public service jobs often aren’t considered glamorous or the higher offers influencers get these days.’
Paige has also been in the headlines after several of her former co-stars spilled the tea about what went on behind-the-scenes.
They include Danica Taylor, 21, who recently confessed she wished that she had confronted Paige over her behaviour on the night Antigoni Buxton, 26, was booted off the show.
Addressing the backlash with 2021 show finalist Toby Aromolaran on his Fancy a Chat? podcast, Paige said: ‘Do you know what? People have got to do what they’ve got to do, haven’t they?’
‘Do you know what I mean? And if you’ve got to talk s**t about somebody else to keep yourself relevant, then okay, that’s fine. That’s absolutely fine, but that’s not my vibe.’
‘Why can’t you focus on yourself and all the positive things.’
Love Island is available to stream on ITV Hub.
