After Casey O’Gorman remarried Claudia Fogarty, Love Island viewers felt sad for Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo.
The islanders had to decide whether to continue with their original companions or explore new relationships in the home of love during Thursday’s tumultuous episode.
Cluadia, 28, did not pursue anybody during her absence, but Casey, 26, was getting to know Cynthia, 26.
When presenter Maya Jama asked Casey who he wanted to recouple with, fans were taken aback when he responded he wanted to recouple with Claudia.
When questioned if he’d remained faithful during Casa, Casey stated that none of the ties he’d had came near to what he had with Claudia, which shocked Claudia.
Cynthia sobbed as she remembered the hot moment the two had on the patio, and her Casa co-stars consoled her.

Things got heated when Claudia chuckled at a joke she made to Casey, prompting Layla Al-Momani to scold her, ‘You shouldn’t be laughing.’
Fans immediately took to Twitter to share their frustrations, with one writing: ‘Nah what Casey did to Cynthia. He has lost my respect. He fully led her on.’
Another added: ‘I really did not like the way Cynthia was stood up there crying clearly upset and Casey & Claudia were laughing? Nervous or not that’s nasty and uncomfortable for her, so glad the casa girls were there.’
‘I knew Casey wouldn’t select Cynthia, but the manner he went about it and wasn’t truthful with both females is disgusting,’ a third individual tweeted. Claudia undoubtedly feels Casey didn’t do anything serious, but we all witnessed how high the guy was on Cynthia. Claudia should most absolutely apologise.’
‘The way Casey and Claudia were laughing while Cynthia was upset really rubbed me up the wrong way,’ another added.
Love Island returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
