Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is the third celebrity confirmed for Dancing On Ice 2023.
The reality star, who won this year’s ITV2 dating show alongside her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, was revealed to be taking part in the upcoming series on Wednesday’s Good Morning Britain.
Speaking in a pre-recorded video, Ekin-Su enthused: ‘I’m so excited for the team, I can’t wait to get on the ice and skate. Stay tuned and see you on the ice!’
News of her place in the competition comes hours after it was announced that she and boyfriend Davide have landed their own ITV travel show, which will see them head to Italy and Turkey.
Fans are divided over Ekin-Su taking on Dancing On Ice, with some thrilled that she’ll be getting her skates on.
‘ITV saw the only person who could revive Dancing On Ice was Ekin-Su,’ wrote one.
Another penned: ‘OMG Ekin-Su is on #DancingOnIce the #LoveIsland contestant I didn’t expect to be on the show WOW!!!!!’
But others reckon Ekin-Su is too big for the show. ‘Ekin-Su killing her career and relationship with one sh*t decision,’ one said.

‘Why is she doing this? She’s so much bigger than this,’ said a second.
Ekin-Su joins former footballer John Fashanu and ex-EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer in the line-up for the ITV show when it airs next year.

Fashanu, who was part of the Wimbledon team that won the FA Cup final against Liverpool in 1988, previously said he was ‘excited’ to be on the bill.
‘I don’t think it’ll come as a surprise to people that I’m very competitive – I am definitely in it to win it,’ he enthused.
‘And this may be one of the scariest things I’ve ever signed up for but I couldn’t be more ready for the challenge.’
The upcoming series will see 11 celebrities taking to the ice in the hopes of being crowned winner and following in the fancy footwork of previous victors such as Jake Quickenden, James Jordan, Joe Swash and this year’s winner Regan Gascoigne.
Palmer was the first contestant announced for the show.
She told This Morning: ‘I wanted to challenge myself and get back to work, get out of my comfort zone.
‘And I just thought ‘I’ll just go for it’, it seems like a lot of fun.’
Dancing On Ice is set to return to ITV and ITVX in 2023.
