AJ Bunker of Love Island divulged that she was in urgent care for 12 hours after experiencing ‘excruciating agony.’
During her time on the yearly dating show, the TV personality – real name Andrea Jane – attempted to date fellow islander Hugo Hammond before being kicked out of the house.
The 30-year-old documented her experience on Instagram Stories, alongside a picture of a drip in her arm.
‘Over the last few days I developed pains in my back and abdomen,’ she penned.
‘I didn’t think much of it and just ignored it, however last night it became excruciatingly painful to the point of needing to go to hospital.’
She added: ‘I was in urgent care for 12 hours going through a number of tests and put on an IV, I’ve now been discharged however need to go back in the next few days for an ultrasound.’
The star later urged fans to ‘listen to your body,’ after she ‘ignored’ the pain.
She concluded: ‘Don’t do what I did with ignoring pains and aches until it gets extremely bad, but thank you to the nurses and doctors who took care of me at the L&D.’
AJ disclosed at the start of the year that she had another health crisis while on vacation in Sri Lanka.
‘Happy New Year you beauties. Sorry for being so quiet,’ she told her 117K followers.
‘I became really ill when I got back from Sri Lanka.
‘To the point where I had to go to urgent care. Since then I’ve been focusing on getting 100% better.’
She added: ‘Whilst catching up with my family/friends, I’m finally feeling better & will be back to posting. Wishing you all the happiest new year & all the best for 2023! All my love.’
