Love Island followers are perplexed as to where bombshell Ellie Spence is after she failed to arrive at her villa.
The public was asked whether they wanted to see Ellie or Tom Clare go through the doors as the first bombshell of the winter series.
Audience members ultimately selected that semi-pro footballer Tom would be the chosen one to stir things up among candidates in the early days of the show.
Tom immediately turned heads and sparked uproar when he remarried ring-girl Olivia Hawkins, snatching her from farmer Will Young.
At the close of that show, two additional new faces – Zara Lackenby-Brown and David Salako – were revealed as the next set of challenges to put the original couples through their paces.
Ellie, on the other hand, has been swept up in the tornado of bombshells past, and fans are inquisitive as to her whereabouts since falling short of the public vote.
Turning to Twitter for answers, one fan penned: ‘Sorry what happened to Ellie the bombshell????? [sic]’ while another fan questioned: ‘What happened to that Ellie who was an option for a bombshell? I would of thought she went in next [sic].’
Despite no mention on the show of her return, the budding reality star’s sister may have let the cat out of the bag.

Ellie’s sister Hannah Spence hinted on social media that the 25-year-old singleton’s journey may not be finished and that she could still be on her way to the South African mansion.
Posting on Instagram Stories, the hopeful contestant’s sibling said: ‘Our Ellie didn’t win the vote but she has had the best people here still cheering her on which we have loved.‘Thank you so much for every vote, share, comment and message supporting our Queen.’
The legal firm’s business development executive has yet to respond to her Instagram upload, which could indicate that she is waiting in the wings.
Her absence of social media presence is particularly noticeable this year, as islanders on the winter season are required to keep their accounts inactive while starring on the ITV show.
However, as the programme progresses, ITV has yet to announce any probable Ellie appearance, but has teased two new Australian bombshells ahead of Sunday night’s episode.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
