Faye Winter of Love Island has been struggling to get out of bed in the mornings since her divorce with Teddy Soares.
Following their withdrawal from the ITV2 dating show in 2021, the television star, 27, confirmed her split from her ex-beau in February after nearly two years of dating.
Faye claimed that she struggled with basic duties in the aftermath, but that her cherished pet Bonnie has helped her get through it.
‘I would not have gotten through half the stuff I have recently if it wasn’t for her,’ Faye said.
‘She is my alarm clock in the morning, she gets me up every day and she’s my reason for being.’
Speaking to OK!, Faye added: ‘The amount of times where I’ve not wanted to get out of bed because I’m in such a low place, but now I don’t have that. I have to get up to feed and walk her every day.’
In a post on her Instagram Story, Faye stated that she and Teddy, 29, had split up.
It read: ‘I wanted to let you know tat after lots of time and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways.
‘Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us, I’m forever grateful.’
Teddy was open with his Instagram fans earlier this month when he admitted he had been ‘tearing up’ while removing his items from the property he shared with Faye.
After wishing everyone a happy International Women’s Day, he explained: ‘I’m here at the house. I have actually been tearing up, which is why my eyes is the way it is [sic]. My nose is all red.
‘But, yeah, it’s an empty shell. It was obviously always going to be quite emotional being back here.’
He added: ‘I’m trying to pack some stuff up but yeah, I’m distracted by the fact that it’s International Women’s Day and I’m hugely appreciative of the women that I’ve had in my life.’
