Love Island star Luca Bish may be now known for coupling up with Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma, or even for his infamous Winston Churchill tattoo, but it turns out the ITV dating programme isn’t his first reality TV rodeo.
Fans have actually spotted that Luca appeared on a very different show, in which his tatts aren’t shown at all, because he’s wearing an elf costume.
That’s right, the 23-year-old fishmonger is dressed up quite differently to how we’ve seen him in the villa.
Luca was walking around Brighton when he was filmed for Channel 4 policing show Night Coppers, which, as the name suggests, follows British police officers around at night.
In the episode featuring Luca, the police were called to deal with a fight between men who were also dressed as Christmas elves, although Luca wasn’t one of them.
The Love Island star was instead spotted in the background with some friends, with one officer joking: ‘Are they different elves? They are multiplying.’
Fans rushed to share the clip on Twitter, with one writing: ‘I’ve just seen Luca Bish on Night Coppers Channel 4, dressed as an elf, wonder what Gemma will think of this?’
While in the villa, Luca has managed to spark criticism from fans over his treatment towards Tasha Ghouri, and a recent savage dig he made at Gemma.
Luca was left unimpressed after Gemma cheekily licked Adam Collard, during the Mile-High challenge, which saw the girls strap in the guys while dressed as cabin crew.
When back in the villa, Gemma noticed her partner was ‘in a mood’ following the saucy scenes, which led to an explosive row on-screen.
He soon decided to storm off, taking off his microphone and walking out of the villa, and when he returned, and the islanders were asked to gather around the firepit for a brutal dumping, he said to Gemma: ‘Let’s just hope this text does us both a favour.’
This led those tuning in at home to believe Luca wanted their time in the villa to come to an end, with one sharing on Twitter: ‘Did Luca actually insinuate he wishes he and Gemma would be in the bottom?? What’s he saying by the text doing them a favor????’
But now the pair are one of the final five couples in the villa, after Danica Taylor and Jamie Allen were booted out, and seemed to have worked things out after their row.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
