The Olivia Hawkins and Zara Lackenby-Brown spat on Love Island is expected to hit a fever pitch on Monday night.
The two women, who are thought to have known each other prior to entering the South African villa for the 2023 series, have been feuding since Zara chose Olivia as the’most two-faced’ islander during a cruel game.
When the late arrival married Olivia’s partner Tom Clare, the tension grew even worse. Oh, the tension!
Olivia addressed the newcomer about the situation on Sunday night, but she evidently didn’t get the response she was hoping for, because a trailer for Monday’s episode revealed that there’s another dispute on the way – and it’s all going to end in tears.
Zara erupts in a preview clip after being accused of ‘trying to generate drama’ by another islander.
‘I think you’re playing a game,’ Olivia says in a clip shared on Love Island’s Aftersun.
‘Playing a game how bruv?’ Zara fumes.
In another trailer, she hits out: ‘Do you think I’ve flown 11 hours from England to p*ss you off? Get over yourself, Liv. Get over yourself.’
‘You’re just trying to cause drama right now,’ Olivia replies as she gets up from the sunbed and walks away. ‘I’m f*cking not having this.’
Ron then makes several attempts to calm Zara down, all to no avail.
‘I can’t be arsed with this,’ she snaps. ‘No, I don’t have to understand anything, I think she’s being childish.’
The camera then switches to Olivia walking inside the bedroom in tears, dubbing Zara a ‘bitch’.
Prepare your popcorn, people.
Of course, viewers of Love Island witnessed the pair clash in scenes that aired on Sunday night when Olivia approached Zara for a conversation.
‘I feel strain,’ she admitted. ‘I feel like you’ve come in here looking for me.’
Olivia then told Zara that her remark at the re-coupling that Tom had expressed his feelings had not gone unnoticed.
‘He’s made it pretty apparent, he’s quite affectionate from the start, you can be a classy lady but some people take it as you’re not interested, he’s taken that as you’re not interested,’ Zara said.
Olivia, unimpressed by Zara’s response, remarked, ‘I think that’s personal between me and him, and I don’t think that’s really your concern.’
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
