Marshall Glaze has confessed that after his engagement to Jackie Blinds fell through, he dated another Love Is Blind castmate.
On season four of the Netflix experiment, the 27-year-old had a tough time, developing a relationship with the dental assistant in the pods and popping the question – before she opted to stop their romance for Josh Demas.
However, his love story on the show did not finish there, as he’reached out’ and formed a relationship with Kacia Clark, 31.
He claimed to E! News that they ‘tried’ to get him away from the cameras, but he was too focused on his past experience.
‘I wanted to just distance myself from all of that, from that experience,’ Marshall reflected. ‘It was going to be difficult to try to make a relationship with Kacia.
‘Still to this day, I’m apologetic about starting something and getting her hopes up with me going back in my shell like, “This isn’t really the time or the place.”’
When asked where he stands now, months after the experiment, he continued, ‘I know what I want and what I don’t want.
‘And I know what I need, too. I need someone who is very self-aware, someone who has emotional maturity and availability. Someone who knows themselves and knows that they can have bad times and they can have great times, but it’s staying with someone and figuring it out. That’s what makes the relationship so much more sweet.’
Marshall became involved in a love triangle on Love Is Blind, forming a friendship with Jackie, who also had a connection with Josh.
He promptly got down on one knee and proposed, but fissures appeared during their trip to Mexico and widened when they returned to Seattle.
In the end, Jackie chose to stop their relationship and restart her romance with Josh, which enraged fans when she refused to return the engagement ring.
Marshall claimed that despite their breakup, he does not hold a grudge.
‘Looking back on it, I definitely don’t have any regrets,’ he told People Magazine. ‘Everything happened for a reason. And I have no ill will or wish harm on anyone.
‘Life is too short to go about holding grudges or anything.’
