The cocktails were flowing at the Brit Awards, and the audience was gloriously cheerful while honouring the finest of British music.
However, it appears that while laughing with AJ Odudu and Joel Dommett at her table, Love Island host Maya Jama unwittingly divulged the’secret’ of her upcoming visit to the island.
During the evening, presenter Mo Gilligan strolled over to their table for a talk, which was, of course, aired live.
‘We all see you in slow motion,’ he said, referring to Maya’s sensuous stroll inside the villa. ‘Are you having a good time in the villa?’
‘I’m love it, do you know what I’m back on Mon-,’ she began before pausing. She was stopped in her tracks.
The TV personality instantly turned to Joel and Keith Lemon, asking whether she could reveal the information.

‘Oooh it’s a secret! Is it a secret when I’m back?’ she asked, as Mo echoed her shocked ‘oohs’ in the background.
Maya composed herself to then add: ‘I’m back very soon, ’cause some exciting stuff’s about to happen. So I’ll be back in South Africa.’
‘We know what that is. Casa bloodfire Amor!’ Mo retorted, while Joel quipped that he was going onto the show, despite having been married for the past four years.
‘Joel and his wife are gong to be turning up for a plot twist!’ Maya joked.

While Maya’s homecoming date was kept a mystery, the news that Casa Amor is returning was hinted at the end of Friday night’s programme.
Casa Amor is often regarded as the most difficult test the islanders may face, when the males and girls are separated to temporarily live in different villas with all-new housemates, putting their resolve and loyalty to their existing relationships to the test.
A new cast of Love Island stars will be introduced, including a professional boxer, a steel erector, a healthcare assistant, and a social worker.
And it looks that they will get the opportunity to meet Maya in just a few days.
Love Island returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
