Maya Jama told an uncomfortable anecdote of finding someone else’s poo clinging to her clothes.
The Love Island presenter is presently starring in the spin-off series Love Island Games, in which previous stars from the UK, US, Australia, Sweden, Germany, and France are all thrown together in a villa in Fiji.
The group has faced team and pair tasks, all while dating, eliminations, recoupling, and dramatic new arrivals.
In a recent episode, however, Maya, 28, became the centre of attention after explaining why an outfit she was wearing had triggered some terrifying flashbacks.
Maya spoke in front of the candidates about how she didn’t want to be wearing her white string dress for much longer and recalled a time when she wore something similar to a festival and was horrified.
‘So, I had these strings on this dress and I went into a port-a-loo and they dripped in the port-a-loo and I didn’t realise and later on I smelt s***,’ she recalled, while grabbing her nose retelling the story.
I can confirm it was not my own shit the string dipped in, which makes it even worse tbh I was hovering on a festival portaloo one https://t.co/FQvTVfKmcY

She proceeded as several of the participants gasped.
‘I thought, “what the f*** is going on”.
‘Yep. There was s*** on my strings. So, I cannot wait to get this off.’
She added: ‘How mad. I had thought one of the girls had farted.’
Toby Aromolaran came in with a sly remark, asking Maya to check there was no poo on the outfit she was now wearing.
‘Was that the string bit?’ He inquired, playfully.
Maya concluded her story by revealing that the soiled area of her clothing was cut off once the cause of the odour was located.
The presenter later provided further details about the frightening occurrence by releasing a footage of the discussion on social media.
‘I can confirm it was not my own s*** the string dipped in, which makes it even worse tbh I was hovering on a festival port-a-loo.’
Maya had another near-miss wardrobe incident earlier this year when presenting Love Island Aftersun.
The presenter wore a bright yellow dress, however, as she got up to speak she joked: ‘Let’s not get my f*nny out’.
She continued on like a veteran as the studio crowd screamed with amusement.
Love Island Games is airing on in the US and will air on ITV at a later date.
