Michael Bublé stated that a fan had a’sexy and phallic’ tattoo depicting him eating corn on the cob incorrectly.
Back in 2016, the Canadian crooner was on a family trip to Disneyland when he was seen eating the snack vertically.
Taking the trolls in stride, Michael, 47, subsequently quipped on social media that he was the victim of “vegetable harassment” and that what he did with his Cobb was “nobody’s business.”
However, seven years later, he has disclosed that one admirer considered the moment so legendary that they opted to permanently tattoo it on their body.
Michael told more about the fan tattooing themself in the compromising position when appearing on the Australian panel show The Project.
‘Apparently most people don’t eat it from the top,’ he said after being asked if there were any memorable love letters he’d been sent over the years.
‘I don’t have love letters but there was a tattoo that moved me and was so beautiful,’ he said before urging the program to share an image of him chowing down the corn.
‘That was the closest thing to a real love note that I’ve ever had and it was sexy and phallic,’ he continued.
He then proceeded to leave the hosts and crowd in both amazement and hilarity.
‘I feel like people made fun of me, but I think part of it was jealousy because I just think they wish they could take it as deep as I did,’ he said.
The camera then cut to presenter Sarah Harris who had her hands over her face while laughing, while comedian Nick Cody then added: ‘If Michael Bublé: Deep as I Did isn’t the name of your next fragrance…I don’t know good business.’
Chatting to the panel more about his well-known line of perfumes, Michael was then asked what he ‘likes to smell on a lady’.
Bursting out laughing, he said there were ‘so many things’ he wanted to say, but decided to keep them to himself.
However, he was honest about the reason he started the line, saying that he ‘wanted money’.
‘The truth is, I wanted money, so I did and the first one was like, “OK, this is fine”,’ he admitted.
‘But now it’s actually kind of been fun and one of the things that I love is that like if I go and look at the celebrity world of celebrity fragrances, I sit in a group that I always felt destined to in.
‘Like me and Dolly Parton and Ariana Grande and Rihanna, I feel like I’m in an echelon I finally deserve to be in.’
Earlier this year Michael said that he was looking to find the culprit responsible for giving his fan dodgy tattoos.
‘Every night there is someone who has a different tattoo. Many times, it’s my signature…then once in a while – and it happens too much – they’ll have a portrait of me, except sometimes it doesn’t look very much like me. And then I never know what to say,’ he shared.
The singer then joked there was some ‘a**hole tattoo artist’ out there who ‘just sucks’.
The Project airs on Channel Ten in Australia.
