It has come to light thanks to Ashton Kutcher that Mila Kunis forbid him to back out of his commitment to participate on That ’90s Show.
The 39-year-old actress from “Black Swan” and the 44-year-old actor from “Jobs” both had starring roles in the original series “That ’70s Show,” which aired from 1998 through 2006.
In the comedic film about the lives of adolescent pals in a made-up town in Wisconsin, the actress of Bad Moms took on the role of Jackie, while Ashton played the part of Kelso.
In October, it was revealed that the cherished programme will be brought back on Netflix. The upcoming 10-episode season will focus on Leia, who is the daughter of Grace’s Eric and Laura Prepon’s Donna.
Fans were already excited about the return of original cast members like Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, but the news that Ashton and Mila would also be appearing added to their excitement.
On the other hand, Ashton has said that the Ted actress did not give him much of an option in the issue, urging that the two of them have to answer “yes” to the project.
He explained to Esquire: ‘[She] goes, “You know, we owe our entire careers to this show. It doesn’t matter what the script is, we’re doing it.”‘
After That ’70s Show came to an end, the couple went on to get married in 2015 and now they are the parents of two children: an eight-year-old girl named Wyatt Isabelle and a six-year-old boy named Dimitri Portwood.
However, Ashton has revealed that because of their age difference, during the production of the comedy, the renowned lovers did not have any amorous encounters in the beginning.
When Mila joined the cast of the legendary series, she was just 14 years old, whereas Ashton featured in the show during his 20s.
The Fox classic ran for a total of eight seasons and was only awarded one Primetime Emmy, for costume design in 1999. It was also nominated for a total of sixteen awards.
The actor Ashton, who played Killers, recently discussed the delight he felt at reuniting with his sitcom family.
‘It was really nostalgic to be back on the set,’ he told Variety in July. ‘It’s all the same folks that made That ’70s Show, so it was pretty bizarre.’
