Fans of Modern Family were taken aback when Nolan Gould posted a topless selfie on Instagram.
In 2009, the 24-year-old rose to prominence as Luke Dunphy in the hit comedy, with Sarah Hyland, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, and Ariel Winter.
Despite growing up on the small screen, the actor has mainly pulled away from the limelight since the sitcom ended in 2020.
He published a very uncommon Instagram image earlier this week as he took in the surroundings during a walk in Colorado, making everyone envious of the vistas.
‘Four Pass Loop – Maroon Bells, Colorado. 26 miles, more oatmeal packets than can be counted. Aliens were definitely seen,’ Nolan wrote.
One photo on the carousel, though, got followers spinning as he posed topless in front of an ideal scene, accompanied by his hiking gear.
Flocking to Twitter to discuss the upload, a shocked fan penned: ‘Thats Lukeeee???’
Another joked: ‘I can just hear Claire going, “Luke, honey, put a shirt on— you’re going to catch a cold”.’
‘Lol this cannot be Luke,’ a baffled follower said.

‘The way he’s grown so fast,’ one agreed. ‘Was modern family not just yesterday?’
‘Still a little stupid Luke in my head did not need to see this who even is this,’ a Twitter user replied.
‘Eh…. excuse me??!?! Noooo he was a babyyyy [sic],’ a commenter added.
Modern Family, which aired for 11 seasons before being cancelled three years ago, focused on the day-to-day antics of the Pritchetts and the Dunphys.
Fans have been clamouring for a spin-off since the season finale aired, and it turns out we were almost there.
Jesse, who played Mitchell Pritchett, said during an interview on Watch What Happens Live that there was talk of a series following his character and on-screen spouse Cam Tucker (Eric) when they moved from California to Missouri.
‘There were discussions. I think the network decided against it,’ he told Andy Cohen last year. ‘That’s the first time I ever said that!
‘I think they were just wondering if this was the right family to still tell that story.
‘We’d been on for 11 years, I think they were ready to move in a different direction.’
