During a tough SAS: Who Dares Wins exercise, Matt Hancock jumps face-first into mud after crawling like a crab.
The 44-year-old former health minister is back on our screens and resuming his reality TV tenure after finishing third on I’m A Celebrity… I Need to Get Out of Here!
Hancock’s appearance on the show, which also featured Gareth Gates, Melinda Messenger, and James Argent, has already been ripped apart by Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid and the Channel 4 voiceover, as we’ve seen him get punched by Jermaine Pennant and admit to ‘weak leadership’ during the pandemic.
Viewers will be treated to Hancock face-planting straight into muck during a brutal beasting on Sunday’s edition of the reality show.
The punishment requires all trainees to go down on their knees and crawl through the mud while carrying hefty weights on their backs.

He’s then sent back to the beginning and told to do it all over again, but he can’t accomplish it without stumbling and falling to the ground.
‘Get up you f**king buffoon,’ the DS yell at him.
‘F**king clown.’
Hancock tries to wipe the dirt from his face as he is yelled at to keep his head up while carrying the weight of the load.
Hancock meanwhile in an interview: ‘The last few years I’ve been mentally tested, I’ve been emotionally tested, but the physical test of this course is about as big as it gets.
‘I hope that I rise to the challenge, it’s going to be tough.’
Another video shows the lawmaker outlining his profession to Towie star James Argent.
When asked what Boris Johnson would make of him being on the show, Hancock laughs and says, ‘No clue, I haven’t talked to him. I’m not sure what he’ll think.’
This comes after Hancock said during a harsh SAS questioning that he laments his ‘poor leadership’ at the conclusion of the pandemic.
After violating Covid social distance guidelines by kissing a colleague in government offices, the humiliated ex-MP resigned from Johnson’s cabinet.
After being brought into the initial conversation with the course teachers, he acknowledged his affair with now-girlfriend Gina Coladangelo during the new series’ premiere episode.
As he first reflected on his biggest challenge in government, Hancock said: ‘I was managing a very difficult scenario in a professional sense and thought I’d done a good job.
‘And then I fell in love with someone who I’d known since university and worked closely with in government.’
After being brought into the initial conversation with the course teachers, he acknowledged his affair with now-girlfriend Gina Coladangelo during the new series’ premiere episode.
‘The truth is I was very careful to not break the law,’ Hancock responded, insisting that the guidance he went against was not ‘legally binding’.
Despite appearing to have tears in his eyes, the MP remained firm and even ventured to interrupt his interrogator twice to defend himself – but was soon shut down.
When accused of ‘poor leadership’ during the epidemic, he concurred, adding, ‘I regret the lack of leadership in the end.’
