Nigel Farage is claimed to have breached a particular rule while on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, despite being told not to.
During the most recent episode of the ITV show, YouTuber Nella Rose was the second campmate to be ousted by the voting public, after jockey Frankie Dettori.
Their eliminations occurred when MasterChef star Grace Dent and Britney Spears‘ younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears withdrew from the competition on “medical grounds.”
Farage, the former Ukip leader, has stirred feathers when it was announced that he would be joining the cast, with many fans pledging to boycott the show entirely in reaction.
Viewers who stuck around got an unwelcome glimpse of the 59-year-old GB News broadcaster bathing in his pants.
In a recent interview, 52-year-old Dettori said that they had been advised behind the scenes not to go for a wash naked, implying that Farage violated the orders.
‘We were told to keep our swimmers on!’ he told The Sun.
‘The shower is miles away from the camp so we don’t know what’s going on. I am not going to go and spy on Nigel’s butt!’
Having known Farage before they both entered the jungle, Dettori added: ‘I think he’s doing really well. I mean, I love Nigel, he is super funny, very interesting, very knowledgeable.’
He also stated that he didn’t get ‘involved’ in the heated political debates that took place between some of the celebrities, stressing: ‘I’m not a politician, you know. I just didn’t care, and if there was, I didn’t hear it.’
During a recent episode of I’m A Celebrity, viewers appeared to uncover a hidden message in Farage’s home letter.
‘You will be pleased to hear the boat is afloat and everything’s running smoothly’ wrote the former politician’s four children.
Some onlookers believed the choice of words related to a boat seemed ambiguous.
‘“Boat is afloat” sounds like some sort of secret code in Farage’s letter,’ one person wrote, while another remarked: ‘Farage’s “kids” giving him a covert message: the boat is afloat and everything’s running smoothly. Aww, how heart-warming.’
