It’s only October and yet Very has dropped its Christmas advert for 2022, leaving viewers absolutely raging.
This Morning audiences were shocked to see the fashion brand’s festive campaign as they tuned in to Monday’s episode with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, and quickly blasted the premature timing on social media.
We’ve not even had Halloween yet!
Very’s advert, titled Gifts for all your Christmases, celebrates Christmas being ‘lots of days’ rather than just December 25 and is aptly set to Wizzard’s I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday.
‘There’s early Christmas, work Christmas, birthday Christmas, kid-free Christmas, and then sadly it’s done,’ the leading star announces.
Cuddling up to her partner on the sofa, he responds: ‘No, there’s always Boxing Day Christmas!’

Viewers were unimpressed at seeing the yuletide merriments and were quick to criticise the advert on social media.
One blasted: ‘F*ck off with the Christmas adverts in October! @verynetwork #thismorning.’
Echoing a similar sentiment, another fumed: ‘There is no F*CKING way I have just been shown a Christmas advert in the middle of October. I must be going mad because surely we haven’t got to that stage yet.’
‘F*ck off did I just see a CHRISTMAS ADVERT in MID OCTOBER’, a third raged.
Another said: ‘Nah, not having Very having a Christmas ad out already.’
Very’s advert was officially released on YouTube on October 7.
The online store is offering its customers to shop the Christmas advert on its website, with a pre-lit Christmas wreath, inflatable light up Santa, and a variety of decorations on sale.
