Paddy McGuinness, who hosts Top Gear, is the latest celebrity to speak out against the BBC reporter who hasn’t been named but is accused of paying a youngster more than £35,000 for explicit pictures.
Allegations were made against an unnamed star, causing chaos at the station. The most recent claim was that a presenter “broke Covid lockdown rules” to meet a 23-year-old person.
It was said that the two met on a relationship website and that the host kept pushing them to meet in person for almost two months.
Since the allegations came out, Jeremy Vine, Gary Lineker, and Rylan Clark have all officially denied being the host in question. Now, the previous host of Take Me Out, Paddy, has also spoken out.
He said in a video: ‘It’s bonkers! I even saw a couple of k**bheads saying it was me! Me!
‘There’s no way on god’s green Earth I’m paying 35 grand for a w**k. Not happening!’

He joked: ‘With how long that takes me, I work that out at about a grand a stroke.
‘That’s not value for me – not happening in the slightest.
‘I mean, I’d pay 35 grand to sue someone for defamation of character, that’s another story.
’35 grand for polishing your trumpet – the mind boggles!’
It comes after the host of Match of the Day, Gary Lineker, also rejected that the accusations were about him.
He wrote on Twitter: ‘Hate to disappoint the haters but it’s not me.’
Nicky Campbell, a writer and presenter, reacted when trolls named him in connection with the claims. He said he has talked to the Met Police about the reports.
He shared a screenshot on Twitter with the Metropolitan Police logo and the words: ‘Thank you for contacting the Metropolitan Police Service to report your crime.’
He added: ‘I think it’s important to take a stand. There’s just too many of these people on social media. Thanks for your support friends.’
