Pamela Anderson has claimed Tim Allen had no option but to refute charges she made against him because of ‘the times we’re in’.
Anderson, 55, accused Allen, 69, of flashing her on the set of Home Improvement last week.
According to her biography, Love, Pamela, the alleged event occurred on her first day of work with him in 1991, when she was 23 and he was 37.
Allen, she alleged, displayed his penis at her from behind a dressing robe.
While Allen replied by calling the accusations “disappointing,” Anderson has backed up her words.
The former Baywatch star stated that she felt Allen disputed the claim because it may harm his career as a result of shifting cultural standards about consent.
‘He has to deny it because look at the times we’re in,’ she told ET Canada.
Anderson also stated that she wanted to include “very significant” instances in her documentary and memoir to assist people understand the types of occurrences she had been exposed to in her personal and professional life.
‘I kind of wanted to sprinkle in some of these things. I mean, not all,’ she said,

‘Obviously, I didn’t tell every story in my life, or I’d be writing volumes.
‘It was because it was my first job, Home Improvement, that I felt that was important to say.’
Anderson stated in her biography that after the alleged flashing, ‘He ran back into his room and then he was embarrassed all day and acting like a little giddy schoolboy.’

Responding to the claims, Allen told the Daily Mail that Anderson was a ‘great co-worker’.
‘I’ll tell you that. She’s a fun girl. Everybody loved her, but everybody at ABC is a little disappointed in her… memory, put it that way. All of us at Disney/ABC, really.’
He added that she was a ‘good girl’.
Between 1991 and 1992, Anderson featured in 22 episodes of Home Improvement.
Later, in 1997, she made her final appearance during the show’s sixth season.
