Paris Fury may have opened her house for a reality programme, but she has disclosed that she declined an opportunity to feature on the next season of one of the country’s most popular shows.
Paris, 33, and her husband Tyson, 35, were recently followed by cameras for the nine-part Netflix series At Home With the Furys, which brought audiences behind the scenes of their hectic life.
Since then, the pair has expressed concerns about the show’s success and how it would affect their family, which has recently grown with the arrival of their seventh child, who was born 10 days ago.
Paris has now spoken about the family’s future plans, although she has opted to pass down another major reality TV chance.
During her appearance on Lorraine on Thursday, Paris was asked if any of the major shows had been ‘knocking on’ her door, to which she replied, “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” had.
‘I actually got a call recently, just a few days ago, and they told me they knew I’d only just had the baby, who was only about five days old, but they asked “would you consider coming to the jungle in the next few weeks?”,’ she revealed.
‘I was like “no”.
‘These things are lovely opportunities and I think they would be great to do, but for me I am concentrating on my family.’
She continued: ‘I never chose to be in the limelight. Tyson’s career brought us here and I always sort of rolled with it and I am here and don’t mind people looking into our lives because I am an open book, but my main priority has always been my kids and family life.
‘So to go away for weeks on end wouldn’t suit me. I don’t think I could leave my family for so long so it’s not something I am chasing down…but you should never say never.’
While Paris isn’t keen on flying to Australia just yet, there’s a chance Tyson won’t mind camping after revealing he wanted cameras to record him going to the bathroom.
Caleb Pressley recently stated on Sundae Conversation: ‘Netflix didn’t want to shoot the entire reality.’
Elaborating on what he meant by ‘reality,’ he continued: ‘(It’s) proper bulls**t. I said you need to film me taking a s**t, you need to film me having a shower, you need to film me in the bath.
However, despite his request, he was told that it couldn’t be done.
Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV1.
