Paul Burrell has stated that he is the I’m A Celebrity…South Africa campmate who has shed the most weight since entering into the bush.
The former royal family butler, who served for Princess Diana for a decade until her death in 1997, is presently participating on the show’s newest season.
He’s taken on the challenge twice previously, first on the programme in 2004, then again in the fourth season of the Australian edition in 2018.
But, even though he’s acclimated to restriction by now, it appears his body still reacts to the little food available when he’s cut off from the rest of the world.
Paul, 64, will speak about the impact of being back in camp on this physique on Tuesday night’s programme.
It all started when former English cricketer Phil Tufnell began talking about his weight reduction in camp and mentioned how he could’really feel’ his pelvis poking out.
‘It’s really poking out,’ he exclaimed.
Paul jumped in Phil after joking that he was ‘like a bread rack’ and then maintained that his body had altered the most in the time they’d been camped there.
‘I bet I’m the one who’s lost the most weight. I think Dean’s (Gaffney) put weight on! Nobody puts weight on coming in the jungle,’ he said.
In the Bush Telegraph Dean later concurred: ‘Everyone’s slowly wilting away, apart from me…’

The circumstances of camp also prompt the celebrities to discuss some of their other cosmetic issues, with Joe Swash revealing that cleaning his teeth has been ‘disgusting’ and has caused him to ‘gag and puke’ at times.
‘It’s like doing a Trial every morning brushing your teeth,’ he said.
Helen Flanagan also complained of experiencing some breakouts, which had left her feeling ‘grubby’.
‘I’ve not washed my face for two weeks; I’ve never seen so many blackheads on my nose,’ she said.
When Myleene Klass asks for help squeezing her blackheads, she dons medical gloves and says that while she isn’t a dermatologist, she would ‘give everything a go’ to assist her campmate.
I’m A Celebrity…South Africa continues tonight on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm.
