Pedro Pascal has finally replied to unintentionally becoming ‘the internet daddy’.
The prestigious title has been conferred on him since he rose to prominence as the lead of The Last of Us and The Mandalorian.
On Friday night’s episode of The Graham Norton Show, the presenter presented Pedro with some tweets from followers who, no matter how hard they try, can’t help but refer to him as their daddy.
One read: ‘I need to stop calling Pedro Pascal daddy, it’s becoming a problem,’ while another fan shared the same dilemma, posting: ‘Refraining to scream daddy every time I see Pedro Pascal on my screen.’
A third went way further. ‘Pedro pascal is a biblically gorgeous man. i want to feed him grapes. i want to fan him with the frond of a date palm from the forests of Lebanon. i want to find the alabaster vial of perfume oil that one woman broke for jesus and comb it through his hair.’
Just do you, babe.
Graham asked Pedro what exactly is an internet daddy and it’s simple.
‘Me,’ he joked.
‘I’m still trying to figure it out,’ he said. ‘I’ll take it all!’
Pedro was joined on the couch by Dame Helen Mirren and Ariana ‘Angela Bassett did the thing’ DeBose, and afterwards revealed the ‘inappropriate’ request he frequently receives from fans of The Mandalorian.
The third season of The Mandalorian is just days away, with the first episode premiering on March 3.
The Graham Norton Show airs Fridays at 10.40pm on BBC One.
