Rita Ora, the pop singer, has jetted over to the resort for a surprise performance for the Love Island participants.
While prior reality dating show stars have walked the pink carpet for Barbie, those in Mallorca are not left out.
Rita offered the finalists a special performance to help them de-stress after the release of her new album You & I.
For the performance, the singer wowed in a white cut-out dress as she went among the islanders in what appeared to be a beach club, parading in matching knee-high white boots.
Back-up dancers in all-black outfits joined the 32-year-old, who had their hair tied up in tight buns as Rita’s wavy locks flowed freely.
In one scene from the surprise event, Rita appeared to be holding Ella Thomas’ hand while her partner, Tyrique Hyde, danced behind her.
The islanders dressed up for the celebration in a variety of vibrant colours, with Jess Harding mirroring Rita in black and Kady McDermott and Ella Barnes lighting up the poolside bar in orange tones.
This season has been filled with drama, from multiple dumpings to a heated movie night, so dancing to Hot Right Now was a pleasant respite.
Rita delivered a rendition of some of her best songs, including her new track Praising You from her third studio album You & I, during her surprise appearance on Love Island, which is slated to premiere tonight.
This isn’t the singer’s first surprise set in a while; she previously appeared at London Pride in a bold Barbiecore pink ensemble.
The 32-year-old is likely to blast the charts with her new album, debuting in third place after Taylor Swift and J Hus.
Rita’s joyful, loving new track is undoubtedly inspired by her husband Taika Waititi, whom she married last year.
Fans saw a beautiful shot of the pair on their wedding day snuggling in her You & I song video.
The couple has kept their romance private, but she recently revealed that their same family values drew them together.
‘We clicked straight away… And, you know, his mother also survived breast cancer. We just really connected on our families and our work ethic,’ the star shared about her director husband.
With Rita to motivate them, the Love Islanders should be able to discover eternal love – or at least happy recouplings.
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
