Fans who pay attention have noted that Rita Ora‘s time in the Love Island villa isn’t viewable on .
Following the release of her new album You & I, the 32-year-old Your Song singer entertained the islanders to a medley of favourites.
While viewers in the UK may revisit the episode on ITV Hub, it appears that fans in the US will have to wait since the programme appears to have vanished from the American streaming site.
After several vented their frustrations on Reddit and speculated it was down to a licensing issue, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that the ‘closed captioning wasn’t working properly, and that’s actually the reason the episode was removed.’
And that’s that!
Speaking about the experience, superfan Rita said at the time: ‘Guys my dream has come true. Obviously I love watching the show.’
While being interviewed on This Morning by hosts Demort O’Leary and Alison Hammond she added: ‘It was so hot and I was sweating in places I didn’t know I could sweat from, but I was so happy to be there.
‘I was supposed to stay on the stage but I wanted to get up and close.’
She was able to strike up fast conversations with the reality stars, telling Jess Harding that she was a “very lovely kid.”
‘They were asking questions about what was going on outside but I couldn’t tell them anything,’ she remarked.
Rita encouraged islanders to’sing it’ during her VIP performance before returning bombshell. Kady McDermott, 27, did what she was told. Sammy Root, 22, returned a blank stare.
‘It’s the islanders not knowing Rita oras lyrics for me,’ [sic] one viewer joked online.
Another added: ‘I still can’t the islanders acting like they knew the lyrics while Rita was performing plss’.
