Rylan Clark has become the latest star to defend Finland’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin after suffering quite the fallout after a fun night partying at home.
Ms Marin, 36, who is the nation’s youngest-ever Prime Minister, has been subject to leaked videos showing her partying and dancing in her private Helsinki apartment.
She has repeatedly apologised for the incident and has already returned a negative drugs test after stating she has ‘nothing to hide.’
However, a new picture caused further difficulties for Ms Marin, which shows two popular women kissing each other while covering their breasts with a Finland sign at the same gathering.
While chatting about the latest development on Thursday’s edition of This Morning, Clark and his co-stars including Ruth Langsford gave their verdict on the story, where they hit out at her critics.
‘She’s beautiful, she’s brilliant, she’s also the world’s youngest [Prime Minister],’ panellist Gyles Brandreth pointed out.

Fellow broadcaster Sonia Sodha dubbed the PM an ‘amazing dancer’ with Clark adding: ‘She’s got the moves,’ before going on to defend her.
‘If this was during Covid, we’d know the response there was going to be to something like this, but there are more important things to be doing.
‘But a 36-year-old woman, yes, she’s the Prime Minister of Finland, but she’s allowed to enjoy herself!’
Langsford agreed, adding: ‘She’s just having a dance!’
Ms Marin also addressed the leaked photos earlier this week, saying: ‘In my opinion, the picture is not appropriate. I apologise for it.
‘That kind of a picture should not have been taken but otherwise, nothing extraordinary happened at the get-together,’ she told reporters on Tuesday.
One of the influencers, who has been named as model Sabina Särkkä, has since issued an apology on her Instagram account.

‘On 10.7 I published an inappropriate picture that should have been left out. I deeply regret and apologise for my behaviour,’ she wrote.
Last week, while announcing that she would take the drug test, Ms Marin said: ‘I have nothing to hide. I have never taken drugs.
‘Personally, I did not take drugs, nor did I consume anything other than alcohol. I danced, sang, and partied – perfectly legal things. And I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve seen or known of others [using drugs].’
It was soon confirmed that she tested negative, with a statement released on the government’s website.
It read: ‘A drug test taken from prime minister Sanna Marin on 19 August 2022 did not reveal the presence of drugs.’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
