SAS: that Dares Wins has unveiled the somewhat insane celebs that have voluntarily joined up for the show.
We say insane because this show is harsh! The renowned faces begin army training, with only the physically and intellectually toughest surviving until the end of the series and perhaps qualifying for the Special Forces.
The next batch of stars will be taken to the next Zealand bush in the following episodes, where they will be tested by instructors Rudy Reyes, Remi Adeleke, Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox, and Mark ‘Billy Billingham.
Let’s have a peek at the alleged celebrities…
Pete Wicks
According to The Sun, heading up the rumoured names is Pete.
Pete, 35, isn’t appearing on the show for the first time. The former TOWIE star was forced to leave the Channel 4 programme after collapsing and breaking his ribs after plunging from a helicopter into the water.
A source revealed to the publication: ‘When he was told he would get the chance to give it another go he was over the moon.’
Bianca Gascoigne
The daughter of England football icon Paul Gascoigne is also said to be interested.
Her brother Regan recently won the last season of Dancing on Ice, so the family’s reality show success may continue.
Bianca, a 36-year-old model, hopes to break “preconceptions” and “surprise a lot of people.”
John Barrowman
Some viewers may find John, 56, a problematic decision because he was accused of flashing in 2021 while working on the development of Doctor Who and its spinoff Torchwood.
While speaking on Good Morning Britain he said: ‘It was tomfoolery and it was silly, we had a great time on set, it wasn’t sexual harassment.
‘The public have seen that. Cancel culture has tried to strip my career after 35 years. The stories are not new I wrote about them in my autobiography.’
He continued: ‘We need to learn to forgive, it was a different time now. I wouldn’t do that now as times are different.’
Rachel Johnson
Also said to be taking part is Boris Johnson’s sister Rachel, 57, who previously competed on Celebrity Big Brother.
‘Rachel is a tough woman and will give it her all. But she had a gilded upbringing and might struggle,’ the source explained.
Ovie Soko
He was a memorable Casa Amor arrival, and now he’s supposed to be testing himself in a new way on SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Ovie, 32, is a basketball player in the real world, thus his athletic background may help him overcome the physical hurdles.
He allegedly ‘jumped at the chance’ to participate.
Georgia Harrison
Georgia has had a terrible few years since ex lover Stephen Bear leaked revenge porn.
Stephen is currently receiving a 21-month sentence after Georgia, 28, testified in court.
‘She believes that if she can get through what she has gone through, she can get through anything,’ a source said ahead of her expected appearance.
Marnie Simpson
Casey Johnson, the father of her two young children, recently married the Geordie Shore star.
According to the source, the 31-year-old is wanting to make her family proud by putting herself through it on the programme.
‘She wants to make her children proud, and there is no harder programme on TV.’
Other male celebrities said to be involved in the series include comedian Tez Illyas, rugby star Chris Robshaw, and Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo. While presenter Cherry Healy, Olympic gymnast Ellie Downie, and comedian Shazia Mirza will all be representing the ladies.
Previous series of SAS: Who Dares Wins are available to view on My4.
