Kristin Davis, star of Sex And The City, has spoken up about previous cosmetic treatments, saying she “cried tears” when she was derided for her fillers.
Later this month, the spin-off sequel series And Just Like That returns for season 2, with SATC alumni Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin reconnecting with some of their original show co-stars.
In a shocking news, it was recently reported that Kim Cattrall will be returning her role as fan favourite Samantha – however she would not be sharing the screen with the rest of the ensemble.
Kristin, 58, frankly revealed the impact of criticism on her looks in a recent interview.
Speaking to The Telegraph, she explained that when she tried Botox, she was ‘super-excited’ that she didn’t have lines on her forehead, adding: ‘But I didn’t do anything else for a long time.’
The actor continued: ‘I have done fillers and it’s been good and I’ve done fillers and it’s been bad. I’ve had to get them dissolved and I’ve been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it. It’s very stressful.’
Nowadays, Kristin admits that she ‘can’t keep it up’ because she doesn’t ‘have time’.
‘You’re trusting doctors [but] people personally blame us when it goes wrong – [as if] I jabbed a needle in my face…’ she stated.

Speaking about work that she had on her lips, she said: ‘No one told me it didn’t look good for the longest time.’
She did, however, admit that ‘thankfully,’ she had close pals who ‘finally’ said something to her.
‘The thing is you don’t smile at yourself in the mirror. Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people,’ she remarked.
The teaser for season two of And Just Like That was just published, hinting to the reappearance of one of Carrie’s (Sarah) previous loves, Aidan (John Corbett), following the loss of her husband, Mr Big (Chris Noth).
Carrie says in a voiceover: ‘And just like that, I realised some things are better left in the past, but maybe not everything.’
And Just Like That season 2 premieres on Monday June 22 on Sky and NOW.
