Sharon Osbourne has stated the thought of a reunion for Prince Harry and Prince William is ‘a load of old b*****ks’.
The 70-year-old anchor has weighed in on the Duke of Sussex’s comments in an interview that will air this weekend on ITV News, in which he stated that he wants to “get his father back” and “have his brother back” in his life.
In different outtakes from the interview, he says: ‘It never needed to be this way. The leaking and the planting’, before adding: ‘I want a family not an institution. They feel as though it is better to keep us, somehow, as the villains.
‘They have shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile. I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back.’
The possibility of a reunion was raised during a conversation on TalkTV on Thursday night, and Sharon stated unequivocally that she does not anticipate a reconciliation.
She said: ‘What a load of old b*****ks, because that is never going to happen!’
The interview will take place a day before the release of Harry’s book Spare, which follows the success of the Netflix documentary series Harry & Meghan, in which the duke and duchess discussed the reaction that resulted from their decision to step down as working royals.
In the book, Harry refers to his brother as his “arch-nemesis,” according to Good Morning America host Michael Strahan.
He provided a little excerpt from a one-on-one chat he had with Harry, which will be broadcast in its entirety on Monday morning.
In the short seconds-long glimpse at the sit-down chat, Strahan is heard telling him: ‘There’s a quote in the book where your refer to your brother as your “beloved brother and arch-nemesis”. Strong words. What did you mean by that?’
Harry responds: ‘There has always been this competition between us, weirdly. I think it really plays into or always played by the “heir/spare.” ‘
