Josh Widdecombe and Nish Kumar tried to get an interview with the Landscape Artist Of The Year crew while they were filming in Blackpool. Stephen Mangan had some harsh words for them.
Stephen, 54, was filming a competition show with Joan Bakewell when the two comedians walked by. They were filming their own Sky show, Hold The Front Page, in which they try to be journalists at different local papers.
When Nish, 37, and Josh, 39, saw him, they thought they had found a story worthy of the front page. But when they went up to the host, they got a rude awakening.
‘Hello Stephen, how’s it going?’ Josh asked Stephen in scenes that feature in episode one of their show, however, he was awkwardly met with a blunt reply ‘what do you want?’
Not letting Stephen’s cold shoulder get in the way of a potential scoop, Josh persisted: ‘We just wanted to get some quotes off you about this being here.’

After Josh’s request was rejected, security then quickly stepped in to remove him and Nish from the Landscape Artist Of The Year set.
Shocked by the events that had just unfolded, Nish yelled: ‘Oh my God, we just got chased off Landscape Artist Of The Year.’
Also baffled by the situation, Josh racked his brain for explanations. ‘What just happened there?’ he asked. ‘He’s been on The Last Leg four or five times!’
Back on set, Stephen turned to his co-presenter Joan, and quipped: ‘Do you know those two? Pain in the arse, both of them.’
‘They’re funny people,’ Joan remarked, to which Stephen firmly snapped: ‘No they’re not.’
Nish and Josh continued to yell at ‘Mango’ from the side lines, with the presenter then gesturing them to ‘f*ck off’.
‘Did he just tell me to f*ck off?’ a confused Josh asked. ‘Stephen Mangan just told me to f*ck off.’
Savage.
