It’s unclear how long Rhys and Beth have been dating, but her identity was initially disclosed on Strictly during a cheeky shoutout.
After Rhys and Nancy performed their steamy Argentine Tango to Phil Collins’ In The Air Tonight, Strictly’s host Claudia Winkleman asked the broadcaster: ‘What did your girlfriend Beth say when you told her you were doing the Argentine Tango?’
Rhys replied: ‘Beth said “If i’m not jealous, you’re not doing it right.” So, Beth I hope you’re both proud and jealous!’

Rhys almost lost out on a place in the long-awaited Strictly final, which was won by former EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice.
Rhys previously acknowledged that his time on the ballroom series was’very terrifying,’ but that there was a lot of behind-the-scenes assistance.
‘They have their own therapists in there. They’ve got people that who you can talk to if you’re feeling lonely, because I mean, they know it can be a very stressful show in a very scary show,’ he told OK! magazine.

Rhys, who was born and raised in London, joined CBBC in 2016 and has previously hosted Blue Peter and Newsround.
He has also featured on Steph’s Packed Lunch to discuss online safety, and he is an ambassador for Place2Be, a charity that provides mental health services in schools.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One and iPlayer on Saturday at 7.30pm.
