Anton Du Beke of Strictly Come Dancing is used to ripping up the dance floor, but he got a bit too excited while driving a Maserati through the streets of Italy.
The ballroom dancers recently shot a trip series, Adventures in Sicily, with Giovanni Pernice.
In the new BBC series, Giovanni acts as Anton’s tour guide as the two ‘explore all the amazing Mediterranean island has to offer’.
The duo got to drive a luxury automobile while seeing everything from breathtaking sites like Mount Etna and genuine ancient villages to enjoying Sicilian food and maybe even a tango or two.
Anton, 56, has now disclosed that he got them into some legal difficulties while in Palermo.
‘We had a lovely car and Gio said, “Don’t drive too fast” and it was quite a fast car,’ he said.
‘I don’t want to be a spoiler but suffice to say, I got pulled over.’

‘They wanted documents, and I did not have documents,’ he told The Mirror.
He jokingly added: ‘I have never been cavity searched in my life but I enjoyed it.’
Giovanni, 32, chimed in to provide his side of the tale, saying the car’s opulence drew a bit too much attention to them.
‘It was that kind of car that when you drive around Sicily, you get very noticed,’ he said.
‘[The police] want to know who you are, documents and everything.’
Anton stated they enjoyed performing together on this programme after first becoming friends when they joined Strictly in 2015.
Giovanni recently developed another strong connection through the reality dance series after it was reported that he was dating fellow pro Jowita Pryzstal.
Last month, the couple was caught walking hand-in-hand in London, presumably confirming their relationship.
Adventures in Sicily airs on BBC soon.
