Bobby Brazier’s career may be skyrocketing as a result of his Strictly Come Dancing triumph, but his father, Jeff Brazier, is on hand to bring him back down to earth!
The EastEnders star, 20, and his professional partner Dianne Buswell, 34, have won the hearts of the nation with their three Strictly dances thus far, sailing through the public vote and escaping the dreaded dance-off with ease.
But popularity comes at a cost, and for Bobby, that means his father is raising his rent!
Bobby was asked for an update on his Strictly adventure while on the red carpet at the 2023 Pride of Britain Awards.
‘It’s a source of immense joy and deep distress,’ he told OK! Magazine. ‘From hour to hour.’
When asked how he manages it all, the Freddie Slater actor said that he isn’t presently filming for the BBC soap, which relieves some of the burden.

If his father is still alive, he may have to return to the set shortly. Jeff is pleading for more pennies!
Bobby shared: ‘He’s been cooking us lunch recently, in big portions.
‘But on the other side of that, he’s just upped my rent, so it’s sweet and sour!’
‘I think it’s a moral thing,’ Bobby laughed.
However, he added that the increase was ‘not much’ – phew!
Bobby, on the other hand, has already been touted for Hollywood and we have a feeling he’ll be fine after his Strictly experience is through!
Public relations experts anticipate a bright future for the child, and it’s been said that Bobby might find himself at the focus of a £2.6 million bidding war, as he’s expected to become one of the highest-paid performers on television.
A PR expert told The Sun: ‘Strictly will show the US how versatile he is and no doubt make him even more appealing, he could be the star of the next hit drama to come from across the pond.’

She went on to say that Bobby’s recent National Television Awards win as best rookie might put him in competition with a Happy Valley actor for one of the most expensive types of contracts.
Carla Speight went on: ‘He’s likely to find himself with a ‘golden handcuffs’ style contract, after a short bidding war between the channels.
‘Sarah Lancashire reportedly earned £1.3million from her deal, making her the highest-paid TV actress in 2000.
‘Bobby will easily double that with the right channel and the right jobs.’
But that’s not all, as Carla assures there’s a ‘whole heap of opportunities for Bobby right now’ as the world really is his oyster.
Bobby’s previous appearance on Strictly Come Dancing was during Movie Week, and he and Dianne channelled Romeo and Juliet for a spirited samba.

Younger brother Freddie, 19, was present in the crowd, cheering on his brother as the judges praised his ‘double-jointed trick pelvis.’
Anton Du Beke hailed it ‘remarkable’, while Craig Revel Horwood praised Bobby for how he had made what was ‘quite an unnatural dance for men look very natural’.
He and Dianne are firm favourites to lift the glitter ball trophy later this year…
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday and Sunday on BBC One and iPlayer.
