Strictly Come Dancing pro Katya Jones has reacted to the news that her ex-husband Neil Jones is engaged and expecting a baby.
In an announcement, Neil, 40, shared that he and former Love Island star Chyna Mills, 24, are going to be getting married.
On top of that exciting news, Chyna is also pregnant, with the couple posing for a joyous photoshoot.
Katya, 33, who was married to Neil from 2013 to 2019, posted one of the photos from Neil and Chyna’s shoot on her Instagram Story.
‘So happy for these two!’ the professional dancer wrote, alongside an emoji of a face covered in hearts.
She also tagged Neil, adding a direct message to him that read: ‘You deserve all the happiness.’
Chyna said told Hello! magazine she and Neil were ‘on cloud nine’ after finding out that they were having a baby, and now the fact that they’re engaged ‘doesn’t feel real’.
Opening up about his proposal, Neil recalled: ‘I’d already planned to ask Chyna to marry me before we knew she was pregnant. Then we found out and I was like, “Oh, this is brilliant, everything is coming together”.’
Chyna confessed that when Neil asked her to marry him, she initially assumed he was joking.
‘Then Neil was like, “Chyna, so is it a yes or no?”, because a few minutes had passed and he was still on one knee. I was like… yeah!’ she recollected.
Chyna rose to prominence last summer when she fought on Love Island after being presented during Casa Amor.
She ignited a romance with Jay Younger, but their connection in the villa was short-lived.
Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcülolu ultimately won the season, with Ekin-Su earlier having a tryst with Jay.
Neil previously dated Katya for 11 years and was married to her for six.
They split up soon after Katya was caught kissing her Strictly dance partner Seann Walsh, who was also in a relationship at the time.
Despite this, the two have stayed close friends and continue to collaborate on the BBC programme.
