Layton Williams of Strictly Come Dancing has denied speculations that he will not return to contribute his voice to BBC Three’s I Kissed A Girl.
The 29-year-old star also narrated Dannii Minogue’s programme I Kissed A Boy, and it was previously claimed that he will not return for the all-female version due to his Strictly Come Dancing commitments.
He’s now hit back at those claims though, clarifying on Twitter: ‘Lols. Don’t believe everything you read. Click bait. I ain’t quit nothing.’
A synopsis for the forthcoming series reads: ‘I Kissed A Girl will serve drama, smash stereotypes and promise more twists and turns than ever.’
The Sun had previously reported that the Bad Education star had said: ‘We are now wrapped on I Kissed A Girl.
He added to the publication: ‘I will not be voicing that one because I’m not a lesbian, but I just want to say I’m so proud to have been part of this beautiful show.’

Fans have been left pretty thrilled to know he’s not quit, with one commenting on his recent post on X: ‘Glad to hear it. You were the perfect commentator for I Kissed A Boy, such a fantastic show. And I’m excited for I Kissed A Girl soon.’
Another said: ‘So pleased to hear this’.
In the meantime, fans can still see Layton smashing it on Strictly on Saturday.
Layton has captured the nation’s heart and has been ripping up the dancefloor in a same sex duet with Nikita Kuzmin.
However, his dancing history has not gone ignored, with trolls criticising him in the early weeks of the series for his previous performance expertise and accusing him of having an unfair edge.
Layton previously shut down any ‘fix’ claims, clearing things up on X, formerly known as Twitter, when one person wrote: ‘not a dance expert as such but I am a dancer and know for a fact he will have studied ballroom and/or Latin to some degree’.
Layton wrote back: ‘Lemme clear up this *fact* real quick.
‘I had my 1st introduction to Ballroom & Latin class in rehearsals yesterday (along with the rest of the @bbcstrictly cast) and it was so much fun xxx’
He’s now addressed the claims again, saying: ‘I’ve taken it on the chin; I get what everyone’s saying.’
He continued to The Guardian: ‘But if you could be a fly on the wall in this rehearsal room, it’s not easy for me.’
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.
