Some people have thought wrongly that the This Morning story is being turned into a TV show, even though it seems like the dust has just started to settle.
Back in May, long-time host Phillip Schofield said he was leaving ITV’s main breakfast show. He did this after admitting to lying about an affair with a younger coworker that was “unwise but not illegal.”
Since then, his previous co-host Holly Willoughby has been hosting the show with Craig Doyle, Josie Gibson, and Dermot O’Leary. Schofield’s replacement has not yet been named.
But during Lily Allen and Steve Pemberton’s recent appearance on the show to talk about their West End show The Pillowman, a picture that was shared on social media confused many people.
Some people were shocked by how much the players looked like the TV hosts just by showing them sitting on a couch in the studio and smiling at the camera.
‘Genuinely thought this was a first look at a new Channel 5 drama about Phillip Schofield,’ one person posted on Twitter.

Soon after, a lot of other people added their ideas.
‘This looks like a Black Mirror impersonation,’ someone commented.
‘I would watch that,’ another added.
Someone else said it “needs to be” a series if it wasn’t already one.
The week before last, After months of attention on the show, a producer to This Morning said that she thought things were back to normal.
Dr. Zoe, who has been giving people medical advice for a long time, said that everything was back to “business as usual” after staff had been worried about their jobs because of the scandal.
She told HELLO Magazine: ‘It feels like everything’s back to business as normal now. More than anything, I’ve really felt for the staff and the people in the production office. It’s a big team and we all get on.
‘There was a point where I think everybody felt that their jobs were in jeopardy, and there are people who’ve worked on the show for decades.’
While she said it had been a ‘really emotional and difficult time’, she thought they were all ‘out the other end’.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
