*Warning: This contains spoilers for Succession season 4*
While it is heartbreaking that Succession is coming to an end after four seasons, fans of the HBO drama will be treated to an epic final episode.
The HBO drama, developed by Jesse Armstrong of Peep Show, has followed Shiv (Sarah Snook), Kendall (Jeremy Strong), and Roman (Kieran Culkin) as they fight to take over their father Logan’s (Brian Cox) media empire.
The last season has been full of surprises, such as Logan’s untimely death, Shiv and Tom (Matthew Macfayden) breaking up before seemingly rekindling their passion, and Shiv’s hidden pregnancy.
However, all good things must come to an end, and Succession composer Nicholas Britell has teased that fans should brace themselves for the ‘huge’ final episode.
Teasing season 4 episode 10, he told Variety: ‘It’s 90 minutes. It’s a huge episode — like a movie.’

Meanwhile, fans have been speculating about Waystar Royco’s fate, with some believing Tom will be the endgame villain and eventually take control of the company.
Others have speculated that Logan’s aide and special friend Kerry (Zoe Winters) is pregnant and will run for CEO of the media empire on behalf of her unborn child.
The most outlandish hypothesis of all is that Logan is still alive and ‘will direct from the sidelines,’ as one Twitter user put it.
Jesse previously stated that the choice to terminate Succession after season 4 was ‘tough,’ and that even when the crew began filming, he wasn’t ‘100% confident’ it was the end.
He told The New Yorker magazine: ‘I feel deeply conflicted. I quite enjoy this period when we’re editing – where the whole season is there – but we haven’t put it out yet. I like the interregnum.
‘And I also quite liked the period when my close collaborators and I knew that this was probably it, or this was it, but hadn’t had to face up to it in the world.’
Succession continues on Monday on and Now in the UK and on Sunday on HBO in the US.
