Icon of the Supernanny In a recent Instagram selfie, Jo Frost appeared to be far from her normal no-nonsense approach.
The 53-year-old TV personality is best known for sharing her handy childcare tips and tactics with American families who are trying to raise their children.
Jo last appeared on UK television in 2008, when the final episode of the successful show aired, although the US version ran until 2011.
And it appears that the author is taking a break from the ultra slicked buns and specs to let her hair down for the gramme.
She captioned the post: ‘Just wanted to send you some love. drop me a message down below, it would be really nice to hear from you and do let me know what country you are in. Xxx Jo.’
Her followers were taken away by her casual appearance and took the opportunity to express their admiration for the reality programme.
One person commented: ‘Still watching all these years later but now have my own little ones. I think about you looking over my shoulder at my parenting style sometimes knowing I can do better and wishing I could pick your brains.’
Another added: ‘Love you Jo! In the USA. Now that I’m a Mom, I have been rewatching old episodes of Super Nanny. Thank you for sharing your talents.’
Jo’s Instagram feed typically consists of her imparting knowledge to others.
Jo hosted a new season of Supernanny across the pond in January 2020, eight years after the previous, which saw the star chastise a new generation of rebellious youngsters.
Then, in September of the same year, the Nine Network announced that Jo would be returning to the small screen to host The Parent Jury in Australia.
After dating for nearly a decade, Jo married her husband and site coordinator Darrin Jackson in 2016.
Jo worked as a nanny for three decades before becoming famous as Supernanny, and her celebrity customers included Hugh Jackman and his now-ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
Supernanny is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
