Susanna Reid has confirmed she will be taking some time away from Good Morning Britain for the rest of the summer.
Susanna often features on the breakfast show as an anchor alongside a revolving door of male co-stars, including Richard Madeley and Ed Balls.
However, she’ll be absent for the next few weeks for a much-needed summer holiday.
On Wednesday’s show, she told viewers this was her ‘last day’ ahead of her upcoming break.
Speaking later on in the programme, she said: ‘Today is my last day for the summer. I may be renting a beach hut.
‘So just want to say thank you to everybody but I leave you in the very capable hands of this wonderful team over the summer.’

As they revealed what was coming up next, Susanna added: ‘However, I’m not off yet, I still have 43 minutes.’
Other GMB regulars such as Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins are likely to feature in her place.
The presenter is one of a number of ITV daytime stars who will be away from our screens for the rest of the summer.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are currently off from This Morning until September 5.
Alongside Friday favourites, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, a host of other names are stepping in for the pair across the upcoming weeks.
Ruth Langsford, Josie Gibson, Rochelle Humes, Vernon Kay, Rylan Clark, Craig Doyle, Mollie King, and Andi Peters will all feature on-screen to keep viewers entertained.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
