Ted Lasso has returned! With little over a month till the renowned Apple TV Plus series returns, an official teaser has been released, as well as the season 3 release date.
We can’t wait to see Ted (Jason Sudeikis), Roy (Brett Goldstein), Keeley (Juno Temple), and new adversary Nate (Nick Mohammed) again in March!
Fans will see the impact from Nate moving to West Ham United after being hailed a “wonder kid” on Ted’s coaching squad and soon snatched up by Rupert (Anthony Head), the previous owner of AFC Richmond, in the forthcoming new episodes.
This, of course, will push Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham), Rupert’s ex-wife, even more to defeat him on the field and in business, having been humiliated by their divorce at the start of the season.
Will Rebecca finally feel like she’s put Rupert in his place now that it’s been confirmed that the third season will be the show’s final outing?
Following Nate’s departure, former Richmond player Roy steps up as the team’s new assistant coach, joining Ted and his longstanding right-hand man Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt).
With Ted frequently putting on a bright front and urging people to push themselves to the best of their abilities while dealing with his own troubles behind the scenes, he’s poised to continue to contend with challenges both in his personal life and via his work as head coach in the newest season.
With AFC Richmond promoted, they must contend once more with being taken seriously by their competitors, with many anticipating that they will finish at the bottom of the league.
Meanwhile, Keeley is starting her new business, trying to find her footing as the owner of her own public relations firm after all of her prior success.
