Jenny Ryan, star of The Chase, has been saddened only weeks before her Edinburgh Fringe appearance.
Jenny, 41, will perform her piece, Out of the Box, during the Edinburgh Fringe this August.
Jenny will exhibit her strong voice as well as her comic abilities from August 19-28 in “an evening of singing, storytelling, and even some industry secrets.”
However, as The Vixen seeks to market her one-woman show, she is met with a rude awakening when her pricey poster is obscured by someone else’s.
Jenny shared a photo of her expansive promotional banner and expressed her disbelief that people could be so harsh.
‘Sad about this. I’m self-funding my #Fringe run, no promoter’, she began.

She then posted a photo of what the mural is meant to look like, complimenting the designer but stating that she doesn’t believe it can be saved.
Jenny, who has been on The Chase since 2015, went on to say, ‘99.9% of people here wouldn’t dream of doing anything so rude.
‘Most people are here to create art, provide entertainment, develop themselves. None of that is a zero-sum game – so we choose to support one another, not undermine. That’s why this is (mostly) a great time.’
She concluded: ‘Maybe they thought I wouldn’t notice. And maybe some of the huge acts here, those with promoters/massive PR budgets, wouldn’t notice.
‘But that’s my only wide board, one of 10 posters I have up around town (others have dozens of more) and I shed a tear when I paid the invoice.’
The TV quiz show host received a flood of messages of support from her fans.
‘That’s shocking Jenny, what a cheap, tacky nasty trick. Good luck with your show, go get em’, one person replied.
‘So sorry to see this Jenny. Wish I was in Edinburgh this year, as I’m sure your show is amazing’, wrote another.
‘NOT cool. Taking a show to @edfringe is damned expensive and such a slog. Everything costs a lot including posters to advertise your show. Taking others’ space is a very selfish act. Don’t do it’, another penned.

Jenny, who has previously triumphed on quiz programmes such as University Challenge and Mastermind, debuted her poster for her Edinburgh Fringe performance back in June, depicting her clutching a martini glass while wearing a stunning green gown.
She said in the caption: ‘Here she is! This is the official poster for my Edinburgh Fringe cabaret show, and I couldn’t be more delighted with it.
‘I can’t wait to see you all at the Gilded Balloon for tunes, tales and trivia!’
