The Grand Tour is back with a bang for its latest Eurocrash adventure, teasing high-octane stunts that appear to be on par with Mission Impossible.
Fans of the trio – Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May – have been waiting for the new show to air with bated breath, with the release date approaching later this month.
The first official teaser for the new road trip through Eastern Europe has been surfaced, as the presenters travel on a 1,400-mile adventure across Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia.
The teaser starts with dramatic suspense, displaying a glimpse of a jet as James, 60, faces the terrifying prospect of attempting to drive his automobile aboard the moving aircraft.
The Final Countdown begins to play in the background, heightening the tension of the scenes as Jeremy, 63, informs viewers that they will be travelling ‘behind what used to be the Iron Curtain’.
Jeremy and Richard, 53, settle into tiny racing cars… before the former admits that he ‘genuinely can’t get out’ of the miniscule vehicle.
‘What do you want me to do? Be less fat?’ he asks his co-star.
The show features James displaying a tiny vintage Crossley car that looks extremely precarious and wobbly on the road and that he admits he overpaid for while inebriated.
‘£11,000 for that?’ Jeremy asks incredulously, as Jams confesses: ‘I bought it when I was drunk.’
Jeremy is shown stepping into the shoes of a renowned Disney villain, driving a car that he believes has a ‘Cruella vibe’, while he and his co-stars take a visit to ‘the Soviet Union’s version to Formula One’.
The stars of The Grand Tour take a break from the road to visit a wax museum in Krakow… and wind up with a kidnapped mannequin.
Prepare for high-speed test drives in massively powerful race vehicles, as well as TV celebrities being assaulted by horse riders with arrows. As you do.
The trailer ends with a crazy prank on James, in which Jeremy and a bunch of muscly men take up his co-star’s little automobile and carry it all the way inside a restaurant.
One fan wrote in response to the teaser: ‘The myths, the legends, the 3 idiots in cars, I’m so glad The Grand Tour is continuing gotta love watching them do what they do best.’
The Grand Tour: Eurocrash launches on Friday June 16 on Prime Video.
