After months of anticipation, the exciting new drama series The Idol has finally launched on streaming sites worldwide.
Abel Tesfaye, best known as The Weeknd, and Euphoria creator Sam Levinson are in charge of the new series.
Set amid the ‘gutters of Hollywood,’ the series follows a teenage popstar who is seeking to put her recent professional problems behind her once and for all.
The first episode, titled Pop Tarts and Rat Tales, debuted on June 4 amid tremendous criticism around the series, notably for its severe 18-rated material.
But, now that The Idol is accessible in the UK, where can you watch it online?

In the UK, you can watch The Idol RIGHT NOW. This is because it is an HBO series in the United States, which has a deal with Sky and NOW.
For the same reason, other HBO shows, such as Succession and Game of Thrones, were also accessible to stream on NOW rather than Amazon Video or Netflix.
A membership to the service is necessary to watch The Idol on NOW.
