After weeks of clues and guessing (and an epic final dance off), Scissors has finally been revealed as Heather Morris.
Not only that, but she won the whole competition this series!
The Masked Dancer finale saw Pearly King, Onomatopoeia and Scissors battling out their dance moves to win, with the lion mask being uncovered as Bruno Tonioli earlier tonight and Adam Garcia coming runner-up.
The series, a spin-off of the ever popular Masked Singer, has bagged itself a primetime Saturday night slot this year after debuting on screens in the summer of 2021 – and you can expect a clash of the titans as it goes head to head with Strictly Come Dancing.
Until today, viewers were left wondering who was behind the elaborate costume, with guesses including Strictly’s Dianne Buswell and even Amanda Holden.
Clues included references to the Pussycat Dolls, the numbers 45805, and ‘a scene stealer’, and today it was further confirmed by the clues that the star was an American.
Tonight, most of the judges guessed Heather, with the pom-poms during her first dance dropping a big clue.
And now we know that the judges’ guesses were right!
Heather revealed she was a back-up dancer for Beyoncé, one of the reasons why she danced to Single Ladies.
Of course all the Glee references finally make sense now too.
Meanwhile, the bowl of cereal clue was actually Cheerios, which was the name of the Glee Cheer Squad that Brittany was a part of.
In shock over winning, Heather told host Joel Dommett: ‘I have had the best time. Seriously, this has made my heart so full.’
The Masked Dancer is available to watch on ITV Hub.
